In a society that doles out lifestyles defined by their set of problems, many choose to live based on that metric, to their own demise. Identity is not meant to be garnered in the fashion of an ego, but as a discovery which stands contrary to the platitudes of the day. Having a life full of problems, no matter the circumstance, cannot be closer to pleasure unless in the sense of a reduction of suffering. Bringing suffering onto oneself is a preferred strategy of the lightning chasers, but a flash in the pan will soon grow cold and unimpressive.
